Dance for me has been a revelation. I am often asked if I dance myself (only at parties!). I was given a ticket to see my first ballet about 3 years ago now; the Matthew Bourne Swan Lake. I had a super seat up front and I hadnt realised that Bournes Swan Lake was an all male cast of sygnets. I had my sketchbook with me but was so engrossed that I just sat enraptured! After that I decided that I would try and capture all of their energy. I write quite a bit about each dance/drawing performance in my blog It has been a fascinating journey so far...
