Urban Warrior

Urban Warrior

£1,200 excluding delivery

This acrylic painting is part of a new series 'Figure in Context'  started in July 2016 and was really inspired by a need to portray the figure in more detail and to explore the tactile nature of paint in a thicker form whilst trying to retain a sense of movement.

Urban Warrior is my response (retrospectively) about how an individual may feel in the light of spontaneous and unprovoked terrorist attacks. The resulting painting, titled, Urban Warrior is one of 'vulnerability' and introspection.

A medium to large piece.

To be shown at the Brighton Art Fair, September 2016

Waiting Game

Waiting Game

£1,200 excluding delivery

This is part of the latest 'Figure in Context' series started in July 2016

With the need to get closer to figurative painting again, I wanted to include all of the previous elements such as jewel like colours into a piece that would show how I paint. A departure from line paintings and from the fluid acrylics this piece has beautiful dark purples and blues and the connecting element of this series the beautiful red.

A medium to large piece, signed and ready to hang. This piece would also look spectacular framed.

Red Dress

Red Dress

£1,200 excluding delivery

The third in the 'Figure in Context' series, started in July 2016. Taking bold decisions with bright colours is one thing I love about painting. Red Dress is an almost classic composition of a seated figure in a dress.

When you see this piece it literally glows on the wall with the red. Up close you can see the big brush strokes that inspired the whole piece.

A medium to large painting and  real statement piece. This would look great professionally framed

To be shown at the Brighton Art Fair, September 2016
