Temperatures have been high it seems everywhere since May which was my first exhibition at the Brighton Open House. Getting exhibitions up and running in such hot weather can be challenging.
I was really excited that my painting 'Frequency' was selected as a finalist for The Holly Bush Emerging Painter 2018 at Burgh House, Hampstead, London this July. Out of 200 entries 21 were selected and it was a beautifully curated exhibition of small paintings all under £600. Curated by Ecclestone Art Agency and set in the wonderful Hampstead Museum (Burgh House) this super space was packed for the private view and for the prize giving.
My next show is at the end of September in Brighton together with Frances Doherty and her fabulous sculptural ceramics. We are holding our 2nd pop up show at Gallery 40 in the heart of Brighton, details to follow
