I have been busy and it all started in late December, the midst of winter. Having a bright, warm studio to spend time in painting has dramatically changed how I work. The last time I could remember a warm studio was at college in 1999!
Preparations for shows this year are coming together well. My works on paper are off this month to the Affordable Art Fair in New York and I was asked if I would like them to go to Singapore in the autumn too. You can see which ones are being exhibited with them in March here.
I am currently enjoying my painting process and have been working on larger works such as 'Chill Out' below, ready for the Brighton Art Fair in May, dates and details will follow shortly. Other paintings are in the pipeline for this show as well as for Gallery 40 in Brighton. This will be a joint exhibition with my good friend and ceramicist, Frances Doherty.
