The Ark Centre is now open to 'Spectrum' a group exhibition focusing on colour. Comprised of 22 very different artists the show is colourful and vibrant and this is partly due to the lovely building it is set in. Unexpected touches such as the installation of coloured material that wound itself around the central poles of the centre welcomes you to three floors of small to medium sized artworks. I was pleased to have three works accepted.
If you get a chance pop along and see it, we had a warm welcome and it was lovely to see my three paintings, Stop Motion, Turning Point and While you were Gone on the walls for the very first time. The exhibition was expertly organised by artist Jonathan Chapman who did a sterling job of getting it all prepared.
